South-Estonia DMC made a trip to Alam-Pedja Nature Reserve, which is the largest nature reserve in Estonia. Usually in April is there period we call “the fifth season”. Rivers cannot contain all water, so it flows over the land and forests.

A day in Setomaa

Setomaa is a little corner in Southern-Estonia. Photos are taken when we were in Setomaa with journalist from Die Tageszeitung. Local traditions are retained by local people – you can see typical households, farms, eye-catching folk costumes and listen to Seto leelo and participate in village parties.
